Ever wished you could walk around inside your character’s story? Telescope, a new tool developed by Sandpit with Google’s Creative Lab, uses machine learning technology to generate a story for the character you create drawing from the world around you. Check out the full suite of ML Tools here.
Based in Melbourne? Come along to our live play and workshop, where you can meet the developers and creatives behind Telescope! Road test the tool using one of our devices, ask questions of the team and get stuck into some writing of your own.
Input character bios, don headphones and make your way around the city, while Telescope generates a narrative drawing from the environment around you. Telescope will speak to you through headphones as you move, as well as recording all this output into a Google Doc for you to come back to later.
Sessions are limited to 10 participants, and tickets are just $10. Book your spot now.
What do I need to bring?
Bring along a couple of character bios to input, or get ready to make them up on the day. You will also need a Gmail account and login, as the app records output using Google Docs.
What will you provide?
We’ll supply you with an Android device to test the app and headphones to listen.
What if I can’t come along in person?
