Jonathan Richards is a Creative Lead at Google’s Creative Lab, in Sydney, where he works on projects which explore the intersection between technology and the arts. The Lab’s work involves outreach, partnering with the cultural sector to explore new forms of digital practice. In Virtual Pilgrims, an exhibition at the British Museum, visitors were invited to interact with physical objects using their phone; In Oracles, a partnership with Punchdrunk, theatre-goers interacted with a set of ‘magical props’ which responded to their surroundings. Prior to that he was an editor and developer at the Guardian and the Times of London.
