Q is a white queercrip dykefag poet-performer-educator living, creating, and dying on the unceded, stolen land of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations (colonially known as “Vancouver”). Prioritizing lived experiences over any and all academia, their work is grown from wisdom and spite found in queer disabled and ill community. Between opening for The Body Is Not An Apology in 2017; successfully crowd-funding their own imminent cremation and deathday party; and their ongoing haunting of underground hospital tunnels, Q is quite content with their current functional immortality and cryptid status in and among both medical and artistic fields.
