Veronica Charmont

Veronica Charmont is an emerging artist whose practice explores the illusionary quality of the moving image. She utilises film as a kind of visual language that communicates and creates scenes which feel separate to what’s normally perceived as reality. The images within her films are intended to be experienced emotionally, as the viewer is taken into this kind of other world through both eye and mind. She is interested in experimental and surreal cinema, especially films that twist the conventions of narrative and editing.
